Exit the airport area and follow directions towards Göteborg.
After going under the bridge, enter the freeway entrance through a 270° curve.
Now you're on road 45 headinbg towards Göteborg.
After some 20 km, the road is heading down towards Göteborg. You can see the city in front of you.
Continue down the hill.
Go past the first exit (towards Malmö, Mölndal and Kallebäck).
Follow the road under the bridge. Road 45 will now merge with road E6.
Stay in the rightmost lane and exit the main road. Do not take the first exit (towards Kärralund).
Follow the detour in a 270° curve.
You will pass under the road you came on and will be able to see Gothia Towers to your right...
... and the amusement park Liseberg to your left.
You will now approach Korsvägen. This is where you get off if you take the airport bus. You may continue up Eklandagatan by bus (currently nr 51) or take a tram to Chalmers (currently nr 6 and 8)
Here you will take a 90° curve. Position yourself in the left lane.
Continue in the rightmost of the lanes going left and turn left. Watch out for trams!
Take right towards Guldheden. (To the left is Universeum, the science "museum")
You are now going up Eklandagatan.
About half way up, you will pass Quality Panorama hotel.
Continue pass the first crossing. In front you will see the Chalmers School of Mathematics.
Take right in the next crossing (at the school of mathematics).
You are now driving on Gibraltargatan. Chalmers is to your left. Go pass the first crossing.
Take left in the second crossing. In front of you are lecture halls (yellow) and the School of Mechanical Engineering. To the rigth is Chalmers library. (If you take Taxi, Chalmer's library is the destination you should give).
Take the walking path (named Hörsalsvägen) between the lecture halls and the School of Mechanical Engineering.
Go pass the glass entrance and take the next entrance. The Department of Applied Mechanics (Teknisk Mekanik) is on the second floor.
